Title: A case study of peace education through the various collections of the university museum.

Abstract: The main collections of Kyoto Museum for World Peace, Ritsumeikan University belongs to the period of the Fifteen-year war-as Asia-Pacific War. The museum introduces these collections to university students through the permanent exhibition and depending on an individual request use it for peace education as a University museum.

While 75 years after the war passes and "the war" is becoming "the history" for a young generation, we must consider how museums connect their interest or theme of studies and the peace education. This report show some example about the various practice education that assumed a museum collection a clue.
