Abstract: During the Japanese invasion of China, organized and premeditated to establish a bacterial warfare system with Unit 731 as the core. Secretly engaged in the development of bacterial weapon, human experiment, implementation of the large-scale bacterial warfare, committed heinous crimes. In order to publicly display the crimes committed by Unit 731, The Exhibition Hall of Evidences of Crime Committed by Unit 731 of the Japanese Imperial Army was established on the basis of the site of Unit 731 in 1985. As a national education base, more than 10 millions people have visited the exhibition hall, and millions of students come to visit every year, including the foreign students. The Exhibition Hall focuses on publicity and education, persist in the educational activities with the theme of “remember history, cherish peace and create the future”, and strengthen the work on exhibition, site protection, academic research and foreign exchange, in order to arouse the world’s deeply reflection on war and medicine, war and human nature, war and peace. This paper take the work practice of The Exhibition Hall of Evidences of Crime Committed by Unit 731 as an example, discusses the important role of war memorial hall in rethinking war and peace education for the future.
